How long is the flag football League WINTER season?

The season will start March 1, 2025 and end May 3, 2025

- Every Saturday

- Once a week for 8 weeks 

- 1Hr sessions

( Finalized schedule will be sent out February 15, 2025 )

WHEN WILL REGISTRATIONS START FOR THE WINTER SEASON?

Registrations will start on December 25, 2024 and end on February 14, 2024

where will the Flag Football games BE HELD IN THE WINTER SEASON?

All games will be held at the syncrude sport and wellness centre on the turf field

What is the price to register for the upcoming WINTER flag football season?

The price to register for the upcoming season: $195 

 

Payment will be required in order to register and reserve your spot for the upcoming season - We limit all leagues player count to 20/team, spots work on a first come first serve basis.

If there is not enough registrants for a league to play you will be given a full refund automatically to the card used at checkout

what equipment do i need?

All you will need is a pair of athletic shoes and a water bottle (CLEATS ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THE INDOOR TURF). We will provide the practice jerseys (Personalized ones available for purchase), flags, footballs, and officials. All you need to do is show up and play!

can i request to be on the same flag football team as a friend?

All Adult League registrations will have a section to add a team - please specify your team name in the section or leave blank to sign up as an individual - Teams will be made game day based on number of attendees however preference will be given to already established teams

All youth league teams will be made game day prior to starting the games based on the number of players in attendance to keep the games fair, competitive, and most importantly fun!

do i have to register as a team for flag football?

No, you do not have to register as a team.

 

If you are registering as a team, please ensure that all players register for the same team by specifying team name in registration. Teams should be composed of 10-15 players and if the numbers are below 10 we will add individuals to your team to ensure a game can occur - our main objective is to have fun and play a game of flag football.

 

If you are registering as an individual, simply leave "team name" blank in registration, we will make the team on the day of your game

 

If you are registering for our youth teams we will be making teams based on the number of attendees of game day. our goal when making teams is to ensure the game is fair, competitive and fun!

- Will be issued on your teams first game day - Please Arrive 10 minutes early to sign in and get your items

 ( IF there are any delays you will be notified prior to game day )
- All clothing is FINAL SALE - No changes after order is placed

- You will be given an email when your order is ready

- Items can be picked up with a FMFA team member on the date emailed at the next game day ( All instructions will be in email)

- No exchanges/refunds

What if I am unable to attend a game?

If you are unable to attend a game during the season the game will go on as scheduled - We do not require any notice if you can not make a game we only hope you are doing well and that we see you next time! Games will not be rescheduled/refunded if there is not enough players to field a team.

What is the refund policy?

If you require a refund please send us an email at Info@FMFA.ca

before our Registration Deadline. If a refund is granted, your refund is subject to a  5% registration fee ( registration amount - 5% = what you will be refunded). NO REFUNDS will be given after registration deadline unless course is cancelled.

Refunds will be applied back to the card used at checkout in registration.

 

If a course is cancelled you will automatically get a full refund to the card used at checkout.

- Input the information required

- Payment methods include - Visa/mastercard/visa debit

cancellations of games

If for any reason the game is cancelled on FMFA behalf we will reschedule the game missed to a later time. Emails will be sent verifying the change.

My role allows me to bring structure and support to the programs while ensuring smooth operations and a positive environment for growth and success on and off the field. My passion for organization and leadership allows me to gather the logistical aspects of the program while also being able to work with players to enhance their skills. While I have always been a fan of football, my true passion lies in bringing people together through the sport. I believe in the power of sports to unite and inspire, and I love encouraging kids to step out of their comfort zones and strive for their goals."
